Enemy Combatants Not Criminals
Cats: Democrats|There is a reason why Vice President Dick Chaney is right on calling Obama and his administration soft on terror, they charged the Christmas Day underwear bomber as a run of the mill criminal. They treated him like a cheap criminal that knocks off drug stores or robs 7 elevens. The administration has gone to great lengths to distance itself from categorizing “Islamic Radicals” as terrorists. He can’t bring himself to say, we are a county at war with terror. He seems to believe that by saying that,Muslims around the world and others will come to like us, or look more favorably on this country.
This “terrorist” did not allegedly tried to bring down the North West jet with nearly 300 people on it, he did try, he set off the bomb! it fizzed thank God. This was a clear case of actively doing, not allegedly doing. There is “NO” doubt of his guilt, none whatsoever. It was by a stroke of luck that it did not kill all those on board. Obama referring to him as a bomber, he is a “TERRORIST, and ISLAMIC FUNDAMENTALIST” hell bent on killing innocent people. Minimizing what he is only emboldens them, they see the weakness that is evident in the Obama administration. Then they give the “Terrorist” a lawyer, as if he he had just knocked off some 7 eleven. This “terrorist” is not a citizen of the USA and is not to be afforded the rights and privileges of a citizen of the USA. When we do this we limit the amount of information we can glean from these individuals. They could be interrogated by the CIA or FBI at length without a lawyer being present. They could gather valuable intelligence that can not be gathered now that he has lawyered up. This is a huge mistake and misrepresentation of the war we are in with Islamic fundamentalists. As long was we continue down this politically correct road we are headed the wrong way.
Janet Napolotano has “zero” experience in terrorism. She is totally out of her element, whatever her element is. She came into this position as a governor, without any experience in the arena she was thrust into. I have heard some of the Obama administration say they are thrilled with the experience of the HSD credentials. What credentials? She has zero, nodda, none at all. Why in Gods name would you put someone that is so ill qualified into a position like this? She came out and said the system worked the day of, then she had to back track about her past assessment, saying that there was flaws. This does nothing to transmit security to anyone, it really appears there is no captain at the con. This has been an administration that has put, income tax evaders, communists, progressives and eugenicists in leading cabinet posts.
